Ernie
Callie had an Ernie doll in the attic at my house at 82 Perch Lane Fort Valley GA. As in Bert and Ernie from Sesame Street. She loved that doll. Stuffed away in a bag, next to all sorts of things that were saved through the years.
While I was cyber attacked I would go up into the attic frequently and go through everything and just cry and cry and cry. The photos and letters and stuff from my life. Whatever they were doing it was relentless. Memories, and strange things with streaming through Facebook and my Wi-Fi. One day I was up there and I could distinctly hear Becky. My mother in law. I was sitting there holding the Ernie doll and I heard her say, " I'm about to wring Ernie's neck.". I started looking around and looking at the attic fan, and looking for surveillance cameras. It was kind of frightening and kind of funny at the same time. At first, before I realized that it was the Wi-Fi radio I thought where in the world is this coming from?
Then as they went through each contact and the contents of my house, there was Ernie Sawley, and Ernie Macias and Facebook and Ernie Roberts. It just wasn't funny anymore. Drilling into my memory for each Ernie. Some weirdo kept saying if you give lost memories you get lost memories. Our old T-shirt that was donated? What did this idiot do sit there and stalk me over every donation? Rescue Mission? Goodwill? Hospice? Or going through photos? Then somebody else is still carrying on about a house.
What brought this incident to mind was when they were trying to listen to Ernie Macias and then going through his training material. Tonight I put in the movie The Visitor. I also remember reading Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs to my daughter, the book, as we lay in bed for her goodnight story. We were talking about immigration and coming to America which was plastered all over the news at the time. Gosh, must have been 2016 then. Somebody was also digging for memories of Fievel goes West and when Dodi had a seizure. I'm pretty sure it was that time frame, because it was shortly after my leaving Diamond Plastics Corporation.
It's not that I'm dwelling on it or reliving everything. Some things never leave you. Some things that are done to you and some things you go through in life never leave you, you just work through it. Anyway, I really like the movie. If you get a chance you should watch it. Also, I will never forget Damon screwing the attic shut. It is as weird behavior from him.
